The San Clemente Marine Corps Support Groupsaid it has an anonymous donor who will match Saturday’s donations up to a total of $2,500.
The city of San Clemente and the Chamber of Commerce “adopted” the 2/4 in 1996 to provide support to members of the unit and their families. More than 1,000 Marines and Navy personnel departed Camp Pendleton in September for Afghanistan.
